Apesar de a fotografia possuir uma natureza documental, busco verbos abstratos que direcionam a experiência ao percurso corrido pela mente do espectador já que não é meu objetivo fotografar o mundo tal qual ele se apresenta.
Pedro França é fotógrafo há oito anos. Seus trabalhos autorais organizam-se em séries
fotográficas nas quais frases formam textos completos. A física e a metafísica entrelaçam-se em suas obras, sua criação é intuitiva.
Atualmente, desenvolve uma série baseada em elementos naturais de lugares que lhe revelam o mundo sensorial: “Não saio de casa com um motivo exato previamente definido, apenas escuto o que esse lugar me diz em silêncio.” A obra Geo-metria, 2024, integra essa série, ainda sem título.

Although photography has a documentary nature, I seek abstract verbs that guide the
experience toward the path traveled by the viewer’s mind, since it is not my intention to
photograph the world as it presents itself.
Pedro França has been a photographer for eight years. His authorial works are organized into photographic series in which sentences form complete texts. Physics and metaphysics intertwine in his works; his creation is intuitive.
Currently, he is developing a series based on natural elements from places that reveal to him the sensory world: “I do not leave home with a precisely defined motive; I simply listen to what that place tells me in silence.” The work Geo-metria (2024) is part of this series, which remains untitled.
