Vânia Marques nasceu e viveu até a adolescência em Cordisburgo, Minas Gerais, região central do Brasil. O cenário rural, dominado por montanhas, despertou sua curiosidade. Sonhava em ver além das montanhas: novas cidades, o mar, outra gente, outras formas de viver. O desejo de conhecer o mundo nunca lhe abandonou, mesmo depois de viver em diversas cidades e viajar pelo mundo. Ter trabalhado com sustentabilidade lhe conferiu um olhar sensível tanto para a natureza, quanto para o ambiente urbano. Seu foco é a fotografia de paisagens e natureza, urbana e documental, que busca traduzir a beleza do planeta, o valor da vida natural, os impactos causados pelo homem e os desafios da vida em sociedade. Já participou de várias exposições e teve trabalhos reconhecidos em certames especializados. A fotografia é uma forma de deixar sua marca, compartilhando seu olhar encantado, esperançoso e humano com o mundo.
Vânia Marques was born and lived until adolescence in Cordisburgo, Minas Gerais, in the central region of Brazil. The rural landscape, dominated by mountains, sparked her curiosity. She dreamed of seeing beyond the mountains: new cities, the sea, other people, other ways of living. The desire to know the world never left her, even after living in various cities and traveling the world. Working with sustainability gave her a sensitive perspective on both nature and the urban environment. Her focus is on landscape and nature photography, both urban and documentary, which seeks to translate the beauty of the planet, the value of natural life, the impacts caused by humans, and the challenges of life in society. She has participated in several exhibitions and had her work recognized in specialized competitions. Photography is a way for her to leave her mark, sharing her enchanted, hopeful, and human perspective with the world.
